As parents, we are responsible for the care and well-being of our children. To ensure that our clients’ children receive the financial support they need, the attorneys at Wright Brothers assist clients in obtaining child support. We look into each parent’s financial situation and means of support and then work to obtain a child support order that provides for the children’s needs.

In our experience, it is often the peripherals that cause the most tension in a child support and custody matter. Accordingly, we also help put mechanisms in place for the payment of health care costs, extracurricular activities, and transportation expenses for visitation. We extensively prepare to ensure that all of these factors are considered in a child support order. In addition, we advise our clients regarding the tax implications of child custody arrangements because such tax implications can have an important bearing on the amount of child support to be ordered.

Importantly, when circumstances change, such as a drop in income or loss of employment, we can also assist our clients to confirm that child support obligations remain in line with changed circumstances.
